Organization has discretionary funding to help people in need within the community.
Initiatives include:- student bursaries are open to all students living within the area serviced by this branch
- assistance for community members, members of the Legion or Veterans and members of their families
- fundraising events: Sunday brunch, Tuesday wing night and Friday Fish and Chips - all events are open to the public
- Flea Market in August
- Polar bear dip at the Town's Winterfest
- meeting rooms, and fully commercial kitchen available for rent with capacity of 150
